DVB-H
DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcasting: Handhelds) is an updated version of DVB-T standard. It is developed by DVB project to provide mobile TV services to battery-powered handheld devices. DVB-H was formally adopted as an ETSI standard in November 2004. Compared to its based standard DVB-T, DVB-H is more flexible and future-proof. In addition to MPEG-2, DVB-H also uses advanced coding technologies such as H.264 to extend its reach.
