DVB-S is the abbreviation for Digital Video Broadcasting - Satellite. It was developed by DVB Project in 1993 to specify method to deliver digital TV services via satellite broadcasting. The key technology used in DVB-S is QPSK (Quadrature Phase-Shift Keying). See also DVB-T, DVB-H,DVB-C.
